What a fantastic professional Nikon lens! Absolutely great for portrait shots and getting little closer to the action.

What is a Pre-Wedding Photo shoot?

These photos could be taken either a few days before your wedding or even as part of your engagement celebration weeks before. This informal photo shoot doesn't have to be at your wedding venue, it could be at one of your favourite locations where you might consider the scenery to be beautiful and want this to be incorporated into your pictures. It could even be where you first met or where your partner popped the question.

Importantly it should be a fun day for you and partner, not only to experiment with different poses that you are considering on your wedding day but also it is a great opportunity for you as a couple to get to know me, your photographer better.

You want your wedding day photos to look composed and natural and if you have already worked with me and sat near the same fountain or practised looking lovingly into each others eyes without laughing then you will feel relaxed and much more confident on your wedding day about smiling in front of the camera and this will definitely reflect in your pictures. By the end of the day you will have some lovely photographs to look through together that will mark your love for each other.

What to wear on your pre-wedding photo shoot

Some couples like to do the pre-wedding shoot in full wedding attire.  I prefer a more relaxed approach and would recommend a post-wedding/"trash the dress" shoot if you do want to do an additional shoot in wedding dress.  If however you want to go this route, I am more than happy to shoot the pre wedding shoot in wedding dress.

For the pre wedding shoot, you could go for jeans or you could go dressier- wear something you can move easily in because most likely you'll be sitting and even lying down.
